Michael Crosson

Founder & CEO

Michael Crosson is a successful entrepreneur with a distinguished background in Internet advertising, website development and social media marketing. He has been online since 1979, literally before the invention of the Internet as we know it today. He was the founder of a top high tech ad agency in the Boston area in the 80's, as well as several technology publications. He has participated in the launch of many websites, including Inc.com, Rolls-Royce's first website, British Airways, Mapquest and others. He is the publisher of SocialMediopolis, as well as the founder and moderator of the largest social media group on LinkedIn, with nearly 2,000,000 members. He selectively consults as an advisor to interesting startups and new division GTM launches.

Tyler Crosson

Senior Director of Sales

Tyler Crosson is the Senior Director of Sales and Marketing for SocialMediopolis. He is responsible for the social and content marketing strategy for the SocialMediopolis website as well as community engagement. He is a technology enthusiast, drives a Tesla S, was an early investor in Bitcoin and active in his local community in Florida.  We'd tell you more about him, but his legal team forced us to sign a lengthy NDA to get him on board.

He can be reached psychically using earthly channelers or extreterrestrial technology anytime, day or night - just not when he's single handedly wrestling alligators in his private Florida swamp.

You bet. With multiple Certifications, advanced knowledge of hardware, software and network troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades... Clearly, he's guy we reach for whenever the ghost in the machine rears its head and whenever we desire the complexities of modern day technical endeavors explained simply.

Mathew Lenning

Amateur international man of mystery

Matt is a DIY full stack developer living in Japan.  With more than 20 years experience in web technologies, he is highly skilled in PHP, MySQL, HTML, XML, UML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and the quirky world that is Joomla extension development.

When he isn't bending the Joomla! CMS to his will, banging his head against the keyboard, or stalking variables through the execution cycle; He can be found building lopsided contraptions in the "Man Cave" with sons.

Alex Powers

Creative Director

Equally at ease developing a website, designing a logo, or engaging in erudite conversations on the hopefulness & implementation of disruptive technologies, Alex has for decades found his raison d'etre in being a creative. Hailing from Madrid, (Spain - not Ohio), moving to California and studying (dreadfully boring econ & math classes) at UC Berkeley, he eventually transitioned into the world of music, which led to the use of computers, which allowed for digital graphics & video, which morphed into web design, which leaves him right here at this very doorstep - a contented citizen, proponent & diplomat of SocialMediopolis.
